Sierra Madre Eaton Fire After Action Report

The City of Sierra Madre is committed to transparency and continuous improvement in public safety. Following the January 7, 2025, Eaton Fire, which burned for 24 days and required a coordinated multi-agency response, the City conducted public listening sessions and gathered input from residents, responders, and stakeholders.


The resulting After-Action Report and Improvement Plan (AAR/IP) documents community feedback, operational findings, and key recommendations to strengthen Sierra Madre’s emergency preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities. By sharing this report publicly, the City reaffirms its dedication to accountability, collaboration, and building resilience against future wildfire threats.
