In January 2026, the City of Sierra Madre received the final report of the Ad Hoc Revenue Committee, a resident-led advisory group convened to review the City’s financial position, revenue sources, and expenditure patterns.

Community Survey Shows Strong Support for Sierra Madre, With Wildfire Safety and Infrastructure Top Priorities

A community workshop will be held on Wednesday, December 10, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hart Park House. The evening will begin with a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by an open-house format meeting where residents can review materials and share feedback

The City of Sierra Madre has released the Eaton Fire After-Action Report and Improvement Plan (AAR/IP). We invite the community to review the report and see how your input is helping shape future emergency planning.

The Mount Wilson 5K Recovery Run is coming to downtown Sierra Madre on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This special event is more than just a race, it’s a community celebration. Everyone is welcome: runners, walkers, kids, families, and dogs too! The day will feature a 5K run/walk, free Kids’ Fun Run, vendors, food, music, and community activities in Kersting Court.

July–August 2025 The City of Sierra Madre is partnering with the National Park Service to conduct an architectural survey across the community. This effort is part of documenting the impacts of the past winter’s wildfires and will help evaluate and preserve Sierra Madre’s historic character.
