The City Manager serves as the administrative head of government, appointed by the City Council to oversee daily operations, enforce municipal laws, prepare and monitor the City’s budget, make policy recommendations, and supervise department heads and staff.

Sierra Madre has a rich history as a cultural oasis in Los Angeles County, offering an exceptional quality of life in a close-knit and serene environment. Our community values its traditions and character, which guide
