1. Eligible Events
Events may be posted if they:
• Take place in Sierra Madre or serve the Sierra Madre community
• Are open to the general public (including ticketed events open to the public)
• Are intended for broad community participation
• Provide a specific date, time, and location (or virtual access)
• Are not primarily intended for commercial advertising or promotion
2. Events That May Not Be Posted
The City may decline events that:
• Are private or invitation-only
• Are advertisements or promotions that do not involve a public event open to the community
• Occur outside Sierra Madre and do not serve the Sierra Madre community
• Are not intended for broad community participation or general public attendance
• Include messages that constitute harassment, threats, fighting words, incitement to violence, or are obscene, defamatory, fraudulent, discriminatory, or illegal
• Contain incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information

All submissions are reviewed prior to posting.
The City generally reviews submissions within 2 to 3 business days.
The City may edit submissions for clarity, length, or formatting and reserves the right to approve, decline, or remove event listings.
Listing an event does not constitute City sponsorship or endorsement.
