Community Development Block Grant
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, established in 1974, provides federal funding to help local communities meet the needs of low- and moderate-income residents. CDBG funds support a variety of activities that improve neighborhoods, expand housing opportunities, and provide essential community services.
The City of Sierra Madre partners with the Los Angeles County Development Authority to administer and distribute CDBG funding. Through this partnership, eligible residents may have access to programs that assist with housing improvements, accessibility modifications, and other community development services, depending on funding availability and program guidelines.
