Elections and Voting

The next CITY election will be held in 2026

The City of Sierra Madre encourages all eligible residents to participate in local elections, which are administered by the City Clerk in accordance with the California Elections Code. Voters elect City Council Members and the City Treasurer during regularly scheduled municipal elections and may also vote on ballot measures that impact the community. California offers flexible voting options, including vote-by-mail and in-person voting at designated vote centers. Residents can check registration status, find vote centers or ballot drop boxes, and view sample ballots through Los Angeles County and California Secretary of State election resources.
