2026 City Council Candidates
The nomination period for three City Council seats closed on August 7, 2026. Three candidates qualified for the three available seats:
Thomas S. Denison
Kris Lowe
Geoff Woods
On August 19, 2026, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 26-82 appointing the three qualified candidates to four-year terms and cancelling the November 3, 2026 City Council election contest pursuant to California Elections Code Section 10229.
Candidate Nomination Period
The candidate nomination period was open from July 13 through August 7, 2026. Three candidates qualified for the three available City Council seats.
