The City of Sierra Madre will hold a Special Election on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in conjunction with the Statewide Primary Election.

Measure on the Ballot
The ballot will include the following measure:
Measure GL – Gann Limit Adjustment
A measure to adjust the City’s appropriations limit for a period of four years, allowing the City to use revenues it has already collected to fund local services. This measure does not increase taxes.

Election Administration
The June 2, 2026, Special Election will be administered by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk.
