Red Flag Warning for Sierra Madre
Through October 17 at 8:00 p.m. PDT
Strong Santa Ana winds and very low humidity create critical fire weather conditions. If a fire starts, it could spread rapidly.
Red Flag parking restrictions are NOT in effect in Sierra Madre at this time.
• Avoid activities that could create sparks.
• Stay clear of fallen trees and branches.
• Stay at least 100 feet away from downed power lines and anything touching them.
• Be prepared to evacuate if a wildfire occurs.
City public safety personnel are actively monitoring conditions.
Call 911 from a safe location to report downed power lines, a fire or an immediate threat to life or property.
