The Sierra Madre Public Library, begun in 1887, is the fourth oldest city library in Los Angeles County and the tenth oldest in Southern California. 

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Sierra Madre Public Library to provide free and equal access to information, ideas, technology, and the joy of reading to educate and empower our diverse community. 

Vision Statement

The Sierra Madre Public Library aspires to offer the community endless possibilities through enriched experiences; building and awareness and involvement in the community.
